Counter current tower:
1. Water is in the packing inside the tower, with water flowing from top to bottom and air flowing from bottom to top. The two flow in opposite directions in a cooling tower.
2. The countercurrent cooling tower has good thermal performance and is divided into three cooling sections: the space from the water distributor to the top of the packing. The water temperature in this section is relatively high, so heat can still be transferred to the air. Filling water and air heat exchange section. The filling to the water collection tank space is called the 'tail effect', where the water is cooled. In northern China, the water temperature can drop by 1-2 ℃. In summary, the counter current tower has a packing volume that is about 20% smaller than that of the cross current tower under the same conditions, and the heat exchange process of the counter current tower is more reasonable and the cooling efficiency is higher.
3. The water distribution system is less prone to blockage, the water filling material is kept clean and less prone to aging, the moisture reflux is small, and the anti freezing and de icing measures are easier. Multiple units can be combined for design, and in winter, the required water temperature and quantity can be combined to operate a single unit or all fans can be turned off.
4. Construction, installation, and maintenance are easy and cost-effective, commonly used in air conditioning and industrial large and medium-sized cooling circulating water.
Crossflow Tower:

The two directions are perpendicular and orthogonal to each other in a cooling tower. Commonly used in residential areas with strict noise requirements, it is a commonly used cooling cycle tower in the air conditioning industry. Advantages: Energy saving, low water pressure, low wind resistance, also equipped with low-speed motor, no drip noise and wind noise, easy maintenance of packing and water distribution system.
2. Multiple foundations can be constructed and placed according to the shape of the building, and single or multiple cooling towers can be started according to the required water temperature.
3. It should be noted that when the frame needs 40% more heat exchange, there should be a large volume of filler, which is prone to aging, clogging of water distribution holes, poor anti icing, and high moisture reflux. The advantage of a cross flow tower is precisely the disadvantage of a counter flow tower.
